David Owan Care Foundation

Nigeria’s healthcare system is faced with a number of challenges such as the deplorable state of some of our primary healthcare facilities, which should cater to the health needs of the rural communities. This has resulted in them seeking care at private facilities that they can hardly afford.

Secondly, the increase in health care costs (40%) in fees for service has made it difficult for the populace to afford basic health care.

With a call for collective efforts and genuine partnerships to build a healthier society and as part of our commitment to improving health outcomes amongst vulnerable communities.

Our foundation under the Health is Wealth initiative, as part of our medical intervention paid medical bills for over 15 patients in 5 clinics and traditional orthopedic centers in Cross River State.
