WHO WE ARE
David Owan Care Foundation is a Non-Governmental Organization with a passion and drive to improve the lives of the disadvantaged, marginalized, and vulnerable population in Nigeria and other African nations.
Our programs and initiatives are in alignment with the sustainable development goals and are tailored towards achieving measurable progress and impact. This we achieve through our strategies which include Advocacy, Partnership and Collaboration with relevant organizations and individuals. Our Objectives
ONE
To partner and collaborate with relevant stakeholders at all levels including national and international partners and development agencies involved in socio economic empowerment.
TWO
To provide psychosocial support to affected individuals and communities during environmental disasters such as floods, wildfires, cyclones, drought, deforestation, landslides and climate change.
THREE
To contribute to poverty alleviation in rural communities through economic empowerment programs such as skills acquisition and development, capacity building, Training to upskill the populace thereby enhancing the capacity of indigent members of the society.
FOUR
To provide robust support for improved education through educational grants, scholarships and support to indigent members of the society.
FIVE
To promote environmental sustainability through climate education, action, environmental conservative programs, projects and initiatives towards sustainable development and energy efficiency.
SIX
To provide welfare support to the elderly groups especially widows and widowers.
